- David Stockman can't stop yelling Class War! Class War! long enough to actually untangle what's going on with the politics of Ryan's Folly.
- Deeply ideological conservatives push for a combination of McCain's unpopular and unworkable health reform tax credit and Ryan's unworkable end-of-Medicare voucher. Apparently without irony. Although the headline is right. Rebublicans have offered "A Slogan, NOt a Plan," although that's true for any issue since 2004.
- Jill Lepore meditates on the importance of reproductive freedom and education for America's women, focusing on parable of Benjamin Franklin's sister. Of course, the same forces are good for American men too.
- The New York Times Editorial board actually encourages Americans to Read the Damn Plans when it comes to the Affordable Care Act versus Ryan's Folly. Though Ryan's Folly is a breezier read, more Americans would certainly be able to stomach the world that the Affordable Care Act creates.
